Holyford College (HC) is a leading private institution in Tanzania specializing in hospitality, tourism & Business studies. The College has trained more than 3,000 graduates who now serve in national and international roles across these industries. Holyford College was founded in January 2020, following three years of research and analysis that identified a critical need for highly competent professionals in Tanzania’s tourism and business sectors. Committed to this mandate, the College provides rigorous training for qualified specialists in business, hospitality, and tourism Industry.

The management also strengthens research and consultancy services to advance hospitality, tourism and business industries, while ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems and conducting continuous reviews to meet evolving sector demands.

Holyford College is a government-recognized private institution accredited and registered by NACTVET and IPPE (Registration No. IAE/IPPE/0953) Authorized to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of vocational and professional programs—certificate and diploma levels—spanning tourism, hospitality, and business studies, alongside targeted skilled trades and short courses. Our curriculum is designed to cultivate competent, industry-ready professionals equipped to meet current market demands.

We maintain core partnerships with public and private tourism Business stakeholders—including TANAPA, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha National Park, Serengeti National Park, Volcano Tour Operator, and numerous hotels and campsites across northern Tanzania—providing students with field-based practical training at these sites.

Achievements and milestones

Since its establishment in January 2020, Holyford College has graduated more than 3,000 professionals and skilled practitioners through Diploma, Certificate, and short-course programs. They now serve in business, tourism, and hospitality sectors at local, national, and international levels.

Holyford College is now expanding its academic portfolio to include bachelor’s degree programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are growing rapidly and extending our presence to major Tanzanian cities and towns, including Singida, Mwanza, Dar es Salaam, and Serengeti.
